Convention to Elect Officers

In accordance with the directions from the Tennessee Republican Party, a convention of the Republican Party of Sumner County will be held on a bi-annual basis for the purpose of electing officers. There, delegates will determine the four primary officers of the party. Those delegates will have been chosen by members of their caucuses. Caucus members and delegates must have voted in Sumner County in at least one of the two previous Republican Primaries (for county, state and federal offices), and must be present at their respective caucus meeting. The county chairman must notify the state party chairman at least 30 days prior as to the date, time, and location of the convention.

Delegates must be present to vote at the convention. All other procedures for holding the election of officers will be determined and implemented by the county Executive Committee in accordance with the by-laws of the Tennessee Republican Party.
